Facilitation Teams accompany communities on their way to AIDS Competence

Members help each other:

to appreciate local strengths
to stimulate dialogue and local action
link communities with available local resources
to be transformed individually by learning from local responses
to stimulate knowledge creation and sharing
to transfer and to embed lessons learned in their own context
to participate in local, national and international knowledge sharing

Ways of working

Participation is personal and voluntary
Work through invitations (do not select)
Any community/organisation can invite a team
Teams are made up of peers. There are no hierarchical relations.
A host organisation provides logistical support.
