Transporters and People Living with HIV want their dream to come true

Networks of transporters and People Living with HIV/AIDS from Burundi, DR-Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania built their dream of an AIDS Competent region and will strive to make it come true.

From December 18 to 20, they came together in Burundi for the first learning event of the Great Lakes Initiative on AIDS (GLIA).

Participants of SALT visits discovered the strengths of communities in Northern Thailand

From December 8 to 14, the Constellation organized a week of SALT visits to discover the strengths of the people in Northern Thailand.

"Once we accept human equality we see the people of the community through a humane lens," shared Dr. E. Mohamed Rafique, one of the participants.

Board members gave strategic directions for the future of the Constellation

On December 14, Board members of the Constellation met in Chiangmai. They gave strategic directions to the Constellation and its secretariat regarding several issues. For example, starting in 2008, two committees will help the secretariat with membership and financial issues.
