Local actors launch the AIDS Competence Process in Belgium On 15-16 and 29-30 of November, "BelCompetence", the national facilitation team, was launched during a four day workshop in Brussels. Local actors will try out the AIDS Competence approach with several communities in Brussels. "The Constellation feels like a breath of fresh air," says one of the participants. |

Staff members of three health units in Bas Congo are stimulating AIDS Competence in their organisation and community. HIV/AIDS is no longer a taboo subject and communities take charge. They talk about HIV/AIDS, they mobilize their resources and they go for HIV testing.
Staff members of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) assessed their AIDS Competence during a one-day pilot program in Manila, with the support of Constellation coaches. They presented the results at the World AIDS Day celebration on the 3 December.
