Constellation coaches presented the AIDS Competence Process to all key players in the HIV landscape in Rwanda during the Partnership Forum. The National AIDS Commission now wants to launch the process at all levels –national, provincial, district and community level-. ‘Rwanda Competence’, the national facilitation team, will play a key role in spreading aids competence throughout the country.

When the Constellation coaches presented the AIDS Competence Process during the IIIth Partnership Forum, all agreed that this approach should be integrated in the national strategy. The National AIDS Commission will coordinate the various efforts and make sure that budget is available at the local level. Facilitation teams at national and local level will facilitate the spread of the AIDS Competence Process. Umbrella’s –networks of organisations within the same sector- will do their self-assessment every year and set budget aside to carry out this activity.

All representatives of the communities will participate in defining the priority health areas for their community, through the elected committees.
