CNLS Project in Rwanda
Our partner - CNLS (Commission Nationale de Lutte contre le SIDA)
The CNLS originated from the PNLS (The National Program for HIV/AIDS control), which was charged with the fight against the AIDS epidemic in Rwanda between 1987 and 2000. The CNLS operates under the guardianship of the Ministry of Health.

CNLS and The Constellation in Rwanda
The CNLS has invited 10 coaches of the Constellation to facilitate the Partnership Forum in January 2007. The AIDS Competence Approach was presented to more than 100 participants, who did a self-assessment exercise. Reactions of participants were positive. The CNLS committed to support the National Facilitation Team in spreading AIDS Competence faster than the virus in Rwanda.
Constellation coaches in Rwanda have made major efforts to develop a National Facilitation Team and to support Rwandese communities on their way to AIDS Competence.
More than 40 communities have done their Self Assessment and action plan. The National Facilitation Team follows up one these action plans.
