A Knowledge Fair is an opportunity for people involved in local responses to learn from each other and to share lessons learned

We share experiences based on the results of the Self Assessment.

For example (see video clips to left where Joan Didier of the AIDS Action Foundation in St Lucia discusses what she was Learning and Sharing at a Knowledge Fair held at Chiang Mai, Thailand in July 2004)

The AIDS Action Foundation in St Lucia is at Level 2 for the practice of Monitoring and Evaluation.
The AIDS Action Foundation in St Lucia is at Level 5 for the practice of Mobilising Resources

So in Chiang Mai, The AIDS Action foundation shares its experiences of Mobilising Resources with groups who wanted to improve in Practice area AND she learned from communities that had made progress on the Practice of Monitoring and Evaluation

And these conversations took place at the Knowledge Fair.
